Eduroute University Rankings 2012

The 2012 Eduroute university ranking is upon us and this time we have many changes as usual to face the various market changes and internet demands.

At EduRoute we constantly improve on the tools used in order to come up with more and more credible data sources for determining university rank. We believe that modifying our data sources and our commands leads universities to focus on what we truly want them to focus on which is premium quality web production and content rather than focusing on achieving a higher ranking. 

 Rather than determining university rank via a single determinant, say academics, we look at universities as wholesome entities that are integral to any society. In the 2011 university rank, we incorporated such stakeholders as university staff, students, alumni and parents. In this way, a university’s interaction with the surrounding community is also put into consideration. With the 2012 ranking we have also taken into consideration the ever changing market and internet demands.

 University rankings have generally been criticized for not reflecting the true picture. When we compare our findings with other highly rated university rank sites the obtained results are relatively similar though the methodologies used are different. This means that any university rank we award has a very close reflection of the university’s genuine situation.

We fully dedicate our findings on university rank to the improvement of the educational web production process. It is with that in mind that we would proudly like to announce that our new university rankings for 2012 will be published on Eduroute in March instead of at the end of the year like we normally do.
